Offline Redactor Support

Offline Redactor hides faces and private text before files are shared.

Offline Redactor is an iPhone app from Launchdesk LLC. It helps users import screenshots, photos, and PDFs; review detected redaction boxes; add manual boxes; and export a flattened redacted copy.

Offline Redactor does not require an account and does not upload selected files to Launchdesk.

Local processing

Offline Redactor processes files selected by the user on the user's device. Original files and redacted copies remain under the user's control.

Review first

The app uses on-device detection for faces and sensitive text where possible, but users should review and adjust boxes before exporting.

Flattened exports

Exported images and PDFs are rebuilt visually so redaction boxes are burned into the final copy.
