PaperLens OCR Privacy Policy

PaperLens OCR processes selected documents locally on the user's Mac.

This policy applies to PaperLens OCR, a macOS app from Launchdesk LLC.

Data Collection

PaperLens OCR does not collect personal data. Imported files, recognized text, OCR options, and exported files are stored locally on the user's Mac and are not transmitted to Launchdesk.

Documents

Source PDFs, images, searchable PDFs, and TXT exports remain under the user's control. PaperLens OCR only accesses files the user selects through macOS file-opening and file-saving flows.

Diagnostics

Apple may provide crash reports, download counts, product page analytics, ratings, and reviews through App Store Connect according to Apple's platform settings and user choices.
