PaperLens OCR Support

PaperLens OCR turns scanned PDFs and images into searchable documents.

PaperLens OCR is a macOS app from Launchdesk LLC. It helps users open PDFs and image files, run OCR locally on the Mac, preview recognized text, and export searchable PDFs or TXT files.

PaperLens OCR does not require an account and does not upload selected files to Launchdesk.

Local processing

PaperLens OCR processes files selected by the user on the user's Mac. Source files, recognized text, and exported documents remain under the user's control.

Supported files

The app can import PDFs, PNG, JPEG, HEIC, and TIFF files, then export searchable PDFs and TXT sidecar files.

No backend account

PaperLens OCR has no Launchdesk account system, advertising SDK, or third-party analytics SDK.
